Domestic Short Hair - Sallie - Medium - Adult - Female - Cat
Sallie is a dilute calico who came in as an abandoned kitten found on a business parking lot. Poor Sallie REALLY needs to be adopted. She is not one of my happier cats in the cathouse. If I had not had some experiences with Sallie in my own home, I would think that she was a more introverted type who might not really attach to a human of her own. But Sallie moved into my house with me in preparation for a trial adoption some time back. The family had dogs and we needed to see how Sallie would do with the canine variety. She did fine with my dogs and fine with my cats (after an initial adjustment). Then, happily, I discovered that Sallie wanted to have a lot to do with me. She wanted attention and she even started sitting in the computer chair with me while I worked. Unfortunately, she went to her trial home and it did not work out. There was a dog in that home who barked at and chased Sallie and she spent all of her time hiding. She was returned and has never had another shot at her very own home.
